Job title – Design Architect
An experienced Design Architectis required to work on a variety of demanding, high specification residential and commercial projects. The post holder will liaise with high-level private and commercial clients to establish the brief, prep are proposals and oversee the project. Additionally, the post holder will be expected to undertake general business management functions within a busy Design Studio as necessary.
Skills qualifications and experience required:
BA and Masters in Architecture and relevant post-graduate qualifications in Interior Design with an emphasis on furniture design desirable.
Experience of working internationally with a good understanding of cultures in relation to design in UK, Asia, South America and Africa.
Particular experience of working with high- end architectural furniture, fittings and finishes for residential and corporate sectors.
Demonstrable working relationships with
Furniture Design and Manufacturing Groups in Europe and South America.
Proficiency in AutoCAD2012 or later, excellent level of freehand sketching and drawing as well as high level of experience in Photoshop and Sketch-up.
Fluency in Portuguese with Italian and Spanish skills desirable to engage with overseas suppliers as well as engage with the current and future client base.
Location of Job – London
Salary package pa – In excess of £30,000
