Your work is fast-paced and highly sensitive, so we are looking for people who can effectively balance the operational demands with maintaining a critical eye to detail;
Specialists are responsible for developing and executing assignments that enable us to maximize our ability to maintain user safety, build user engagement, and mitigate site abuse;
You’ll also be expected to implement changes to policies, tools and procedures in order to help drive efficiency gains for the team;
The position is full time and is based in Dublin;
Responsibilities
Provide high quality support for rights holders with intellectual property issues, including claims of copyright and trademark infringement, and instances of defamation
Develop strategic plans to provide support to our users through reactive and proactive initiatives
Perform data analysis, communicate this analysis to a team of cross-functional stakeholders and execute initiatives to improve our users’ interaction with the Facebook platform
Identify trends and develop solutions to optimize team workflows, and to increase customer satisfaction
Work cross-functionally with sales, marketing, legal and product teams within Facebook
Be the voice of the User Operations Intellectual Property team and liaise with Legal and other relevant teams across channels
Remain up to date on how product changes will impact intellectual property issues on the site
Requirements
Fluency in written and conversational Brazilian Portuguese
Strong knowledge on strategic/analytical initiatives & policy related issues
Strong problem solving and analytical skills coupled with the ability to act independently across competing priorities
Comfortable interacting with cross-functional stakeholders and serving as a subject matter expert
Strong understanding of Facebook platform and passionate about the company’s mission
Self-motivated and able to thrive in a constantly changing environment and execute in a timely fashion
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a strong attention to detail
Experience handling intellectual property matters desirable, preferably with an Internet based company
B.A., B.S., or higher.
